Say hello to Hollywood! Billy Joel performed to a sold-out crowd for his one-night-only concert at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California on Saturday, October 12.
The singer kicked off the night by playing his hit songs including ‘Vienna’, ‘Don’t Ask Me Why’, ‘New York State of Mind’ and more before introducing his first surprise guest of the night. John Mayer.
Mayer joined Joel to perform “This Is The Time,” where the “Daughters” singer blew the crowd away with a guitar solo.
Axl Rose then took the stage with Joel to sing a high-energy cover of his “Live and Let Die.” Paul McCartney and Wings.
Joel’s final guest of the night was his daughter, Della Rose, 9, who he shares with wife, Alexis Roderick, for a duet of “My Life.”
Joel then performed fan favorites such as “Scenes From an Italian Restaurant” and “Piano Man” before an encore where he wowed concertgoers with “We Didn’t Start the Fire,” “Uptown Girl “, “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me” and “Big Shot”.
The musician closed the night with his classic, “You may be Right”.
Joel’s next show is scheduled for Friday, October 25th in San Antonio, Texas, and the Intuit Dome is set to host the LA Clippers vs. Dallas Mavericks preseason game on Monday, October 14th.
